My childhood dream of becoming an attorney seemed distant after embarking on a 13-year career in banking and raising a family of four, including the adoption of two more children, I refused to let go of that aspiration. With unwavering faith, tireless determination, and an unyielding work ethic, I navigated the challenging path of transitioning from banking to law. Despite the obstacles, I pressed forward, propelled by the belief that my dream was within reach. My ability to rise above any circumstance and come out on top has given me the nickname “Wonder Woman” by some of my closest friends and family.

Now, as an attorney, I am driven by a profound passion for advocacy, particularly for minorities who face unjust hurdles within the legal system. I see it as my calling to utilize my voice as a beacon of support, counseling, and assistance not only for my clients but also for my broader community, my family, and my friends. I love what I do and some days it hardly feels like work. While all the days are not easy, I realize being an attorney is not only my passion but my purpose. I am thankful for the voice God has given me, the clients I am able to serve, my family and the partnership/sisterhood of Kellisia Hazlewood.
